The Crafts of the Modern World
Edited by Rose Slivka.
Subdivided into countries, this book is a superb introduction to historical and contemporary crafts and arts from around the world. Our particular favourites are the bread dolls from Ecuador, wool tapestries from Switzerland and a sand-cast mural from Pakistan.
There is an overload of inspiration to take from this book. Even though the colour plates are minimal, the rest of the prints in black and white are refined.
