Private View: The Lively World of British Art
Aieeeeeeeee! What an incredible find! We can’t handle this book. It’s full of beautiful and unusual portraits of the best of the British Art World of the 1960’s, working away in their studios. Including many ground-breaking female artists such as Bridget Riley, Elizabeth Frink and Barbara Hepworth - who in one of the best photos in the book is doing a Vogue pose on a pile of seaweed! WE LOVE HER.
The print quality is out of this world too, the chromolithograph colour photos are like paintings. This book is a gift.
