POL Magazine April 1984
POL was a sexy, intelligent Australian mag for women with an anti-cultural cringe attitude. It ran from 1969 - 1986. It was once edited by Richard Walsh and guest edited by Richard Neville, both of OZ Magazine fame. Cover stars included Germaine Greer, Mick Jagger, Rudolph Nureyev... of course it's super super hard to get now! The Germaine Greer edited issue is fantastic, and this one is just as good! The beautiful Marisa Berenson is the cover star for this issue and includes an article on a young Karl Lagerfeld, David Hockney's 'Visual Diary' and images from the photographic exhibition, Women of Quality by American photographer Paul Jasmin, which includes Liza Minelli and Paloma Picasso.
