How to Understand and Use Display
By Haruhisa Hattori
We love a straight-forward title, but as is usual with our favourite books, it only skims the surface – you gotta browse to get the full picture! What we love most about this visual merchandising sourcebook is its approach. So much thought has been given to these displays and there is a wide-ranging discussion on various aspects of display, such as beauty, enjoyment, human participation, the transferring of information, and the treatment of customers. Of course the displays themselves are something else. If only we could see them in the flesh!
