Disney's America on Parade

$60.00

Text by David Jacobs.

A seriously fantastic book that describes itself as “The biggest, most colorful, most tuneful, most far-flung birthday party ever.” We couldn't agree more. It tells the (grossly santised) history of the USA, starting from it's “discovery” and settlement by Columbus, via the extravagant parades and pageants at Disneyland and Disney World in the 70s. Sounds bizarre and it is. The most amazing features in this book are the 4 pull-out pages that are long panoramic scenes of the parades, complete with throngs of onlookers cheering on the floats going down Disneyland's main street.
