Crackpot: The Obsessions of John Waters
A personal favourite, Crackpot: The Obsessions of John Waters should be read immediately after watching Pink Flamingos for the first time. That course should be the obligatory introduction to the filthy world of The Pope of Trash and if you're still not hooked -- then we guess you'll just never "get it".
Serioulsy funny, this book compiled some of Waters' most hilarious journalism with essays (monologues?) on his famous love of trash and the lowest of the low bro, including: strippers, murderes, The National Enquirer, Chrismas and why he loves it.
Read this on the toilet because that's what Waters would want!
