American Surfaces by Stephen Shore
Previously unpublished up to this point, American Surfaces was a “visual diary” of Shore's travels across America during 1972 and 1973. Processed simply in Kodak Labs in New Jersey, these images were groundbreaking as they were in stark contrast to the kind of “Art photography” that was being produced at the time. Fantastic “raw” photos that still look so contemporary and continue to influence photographers today.
