First edition, very scarce copy of the first book to ever do an in-depth examination of Pimp culture. Co-Author Christina Milner, went underground for 2 years while researching this book, becoming “Tiger Red”, a topless dancer in San Fransisco's North Beach. This way she was able to interview the top pimps of the Bay Area, many of whom were eager to add her to their 'stable'. This is a super interesting read, and while highly personal, it's first and foremost an academic study: an anthropological look at a male dominated world from the outside in.
