VIVA magazine was published by Penthouse head honcho, Bob Guccione from 1973 - 1980. It was an erotic mag for women who were feminine and also feminist (a companion publication to Penthouse) containing articles and fiction delving into women’s fantasies, and exploring their sexuality, interviews with famous peeps, fashion and beauty. Anna Wintour was once its fashion editor!
This issue includes: An interview with author Erica Jong, post-The Fear of Flying and a young Bruce Dern; a photoshoot of sexy lips making vowels, and a super-weird shoot of a Jackie Onassis look-alike wearing a plastic face mask; as well as an article on Israeli women in the army.
