Ashley Bryan’s aesthetic and technique is reminiscent of Paul Klee’s eccentric puppets. Bryan sources his materials for his unusual puppets from beach combing and cast-off things from the side-walk. He creates his puppets intuitively and they are full of weird life. Bryan's puppets inspire children and parents to create their own new bizarre and amazing characters from the disused objects around the house.
